JurnalFakta. Commodity prices of chicken eggs and red chili are reported to increase in Sukabumi Regency. This is based on the monitoring of Sukabumi Regency Trade, Cooperative and Small and Medium Enterprises (DPKUKM) officers in the second week of December 2018.

"The price of chicken eggs when averaged increases by Rp. 25,938 thousand per kilogram to Rp. 26,250 per kilogram," said Head of Trade, DPKUKM Sukabumi Regency, Ela Nurlela, to reporters on Friday. , Parungkuda, Cicurug, Palabuhanratu, Sukaraja, Surade, and Sagaranten.

The price of chicken eggs in the Cisaat Market for example increases from Rp. 25,500 per kilogram to Rp. 26,000 per kilogram. At Cicurug Market the price of chicken eggs rose from Rp. 25 thousand per kilogram to Rp. 26 thousand per kilogram. Besides that, at Palabuhanratu Market, from Rp. 26 thousand per kilogram to Rp. 27 thousand per kilogram.

While the price of chicken meat in Sukabumi Regency if averaged is still stable at IDR 35 thousand per kilogram. Earlier at the beginning of December 2018 the price of chicken meat had risen on average from Rp 33,250 per kilogram to Rp 34,750 per kilogram.

According to Ela, another commodity that experienced a price increase before the end of the year was red chili. The price of large red chili is currently sold at Rp 30,250 per kilogram even though previously it was Rp 29,000 per kilogram.

In addition, curly red chili rose slightly from Rp. 24,625 per kilogram to Rp. 24,875 per kilogram. The price of red cayenne pepper also rose from Rp. 28,625 per kilogram to Rp. 30 thousand per kilogram.

Ela said, the district government continued to monitor the movements in the price of eggs and chicken meat and vegetables on the market. The hope is the price of these two commodities can return to normal. So that the increase does not burden the community.
